Home Remedy for Wrinkles

My grandmother looked a lot younger than she really was.  How did she do this?  Well she employed a series of home remedies for wrinkles.  Her wrinkle home remedy includes:

  • rubbing ground onion on her face
  • put whipped egg whites on face and let dry, then wash
  • mix 1 teaspoon of raspberry juice with one teaspoon of orange juice. Add one teaspoon of olive oil, whipped egg yolk and 2 tablespoons of grind oatmeal. Wait for 20 minutes and smear on face. Wait until it gets dry and wash off with warm water

Curing a Hangover

There were times I used to come home drunk and every so often my grandmother would see that in the morning I had a hangover.  She calmly gave me a great home remedy:  Rum and Coke.  I know it sounds strange, but it really does work.

Home Remedy for Bad Breath

Bad breath can be embarrassing and down right awful. Of course my grandmother had a home rememdy for bad breath. When I would go out on a date, she would always make sure I did the following to ensure my breath smelled great:

  • chew peppermint
  • eat pumpkin
  • brush teeth with baking soda

One must note that none of these home remedies will work instantaneously, rather they need to be repeated over and over again.

Home Remedy: Constipation

There are many ailments out there, but one of the worst is constipation.  I just can’t stand that feeling of haveing something inside me creating  a “blockage.”  My granny used to give me a cup of prune juice to get my bowels moving again.  It worked within a few hours.

Diarrhea can be pretty horrible and if not treated can actually be dangerous.  My granny taught the perfect home remedy for diarrhea.  Her diarrhea home remedy consists of: Toasted white bread with peanut butter and some bannana on top.  It makes a great tasting snack and reverses diarrhea to boot.

Home Remedy for Depression

In todays world many people are depressed.  They run to shrinks, counselors, and take anti depressants, but is there a better way.  I believe there is.  My grandmother always said that there is no room in this world for depression  and that her remedy for it was to go outside, look up into the sky, and take a moment to realize how precious life is; how amazing and vast the world is.  No there is the infinite and it is involved in your every day mundane activities.  This is what she felt was the true home remedy for depression.
